为深入学习贯彻党的二十大精神和习近平总书记关于教育的重要论述，推动我校来华留学事业高质量发展，丰富和深化国情教育工作，3月25日、26日、4月1日，我校组织了三次共计150余名留学生到我校东北民族民俗博物馆和自然博物馆进行参观学习。两座博物馆馆藏丰富、各具特色，向留学生们全面、立体地展示了吉林省、乃至东北地区的自然资源、特色文化和悠久历史。
党的二十大召开以来，强国建设、民族复兴的宏伟目标令人鼓舞，催人奋进。春风正劲，正是我们带领留学生走出校园，探寻中国故事，聆听中国声音的大好时节。习近平总书记在二十大报告中提出要深化文明交流互鉴，推动中华文化更好走向世界。此次参观学习就为在校留学生提供了一次走出校园深入体验中华文明的机会。通过此次参观学习，留学生们纷纷表示对于中国的过去、现在和未来有了更深刻的认识，不仅为中国厚重的历史文化积淀和独特的民族魅力所折服，而且还能从中探寻中国发展的答案。

As a student of History and Classical Civilizations, I often look upon many modern political decisions with a sense of great sadness and fear, as humanity seems to continuously make the same mistakes time and time again. However, with the opening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, I am imbued with a sense of hope for not only myself but also future generations. As international students of NENU，we were taken to visit 2 of Changchun’s museums. There we were able to walk through and experience the historical and cultural transformations which have taken place in China from the Neolithic period to modern times. This experience has shown me that whilst other countries are drowning in the stagnant waters of their past ‘glories’, China continues to grow and develop on a positive trajectory. It is my hope that the other international powers will take heed and grow greater alongside China so that global harmony can finally be achieved.

My visit to the museums served to confirm what a beautiful and great nation China is. The museums shows a rich history of hard work, innovation and togetherness which resonate with the Communist Party of China 20th Congress resolutions which call for the people of China to remain modest, prudent and hardworking. The museums show early innovations in agricultural equipment and other tools, demonstrating the ever-growing need for innovation and development which the 20th congress continue to build on in a successful endeavor to build a modern socialist country.
The natural history museum shows the Chinese people’s respect and connection with nature. On arriving at the museum I felt the environment to be peaceful, soothing, refreshing and I felt the connection with the beauty of nature as I explored the place.
The museums show where China has evolved from and compared to where it stands today as a global powerhouse there has been great strides. With the commitment, unity and hard work that I have seen, the goal of the 20th congress to build a united people, pursue progress and a shared future is on course and attainable.

One thing that really stood out to me during our museum visits was the incredible diversity of the exhibits. From ancient artifacts to contemporary art, we saw a wide range of exhibits that showcased the unique cultural heritage of the region. It was amazing to see how many different styles and perspectives there were, and how they all came together to create a rich and vibrant cultural tapestry. As we discussed the exhibits, we also talked about the recent 20th National Congress in China and the country's ongoing efforts to balance economic development and cultural preservation. We believe that it's possible for China to achieve both of these goals, but it will require a commitment to investing in initiatives that promote cultural exchange and understanding. It was so amazing to be able to share this experience with my international university friends and to learn more from each other as we explored the exhibits.

上周末我们的学校组织了一个活动——“东师博物馆探秘之旅”，让我们留学生感受一下中国东北的历史和文化。通过参观博物馆就能发现很久之前中国人民的生活水平没有那么高，可是现在的生活水平提高了许多。只要到外面走一走就能发现中国在不停地发展，这样人民的物质生活与精神生活才会发展起来。每一次去南湖公园，我总是能看到很多人在跳舞或者在唱歌。除了跳舞和唱歌还有很多人经常去博物馆，他们就都是精神生活丰富的人民。我发现了在中国这种人很多。我希望有更多机会让我了解中国文化与中国人民的生活。

At the museums, we have seen that the standard of living in the past was not as high as it is now. However, if we pay more attention, we can see that China is constantly developing, which has improved people's material and spiritual lives. Whenever I go to the Nanhu Park, I can always see many people dancing or singing there. In addition to dancing and singing, many people would also like to visit museums. So I think that they are the group of people that with rich spiritual lives. I have noticed that there are many such people in China. I hope to have more opportunities to learn about Chinese culture and the lives of Chinese people.

In the modern society, museums play an important role in preserving and showcasing cultural heritage. My first visit to the Museum of Northeast Ethnic and Folk Custom and Museum of Natural History in Changchun, enabled me to explore history, life styles and traditions of the rich and diverse cultures of China in general and northeast China in particular. The visit was not only entertaining but also provided an immersive educational experience for better understanding of the cultural heritage of Northeast China, where I found many similarities to my culture.
In the Ethnic and Folk Customs museum, I got informed for the impressive unique cultural heritage of the Manchurian, Mongolian and Korean ethnic groups. A variety of traditional handcrafts such as food and drink preparation, textile works, wood works, music instruments, schooling/Confucius, etc. were displayed magnificently. Similarly, the Natural History Museum mimics the “real nature”. The wisdom begins from breathtaking internal architecture of the building that gave the feeling of natural landscape. The glowing forest and animal sprite were a plus point to feel Northeast China. Finally, I am wordless to express my feeling and I thank the organizers.
