It’s a wonderful time of the year as we bid farewell to the graduating and course-completing classes of 2023 international students. Now that you are about to leave, I hope you will not forget President Xu Haiyang's earnest speech at the graduation ceremony, persist in pioneering and innovating, and find out your own goals. When you bid farewell to NENU, I believe everyone has mixed feelings. As Makushina Anna, a Russian graduate, said at the graduation ceremony, there is a sense of confusion about starting a job, as well as hopes for the future, but more is a deep love for the alma mater. The graduation ceremony ended your time at NENU successfully, but NENU well be your home forever! Ride the wind and waves, sail in the clouds and go forward in the ocean! One day, we will meet at the top of the mountain!

学校还为国际学生毕结业生精心筹备了毕业欢送会。会上，毕业生、结业生和教师代表们欢聚一堂，共同回忆在东师的时光、迎接美好的未来。
A farewell party was also held for the graduates. At the party, graduates, short-term advanced students and teacher’s representatives gathered together, recalling their time at NENU and looking forward to a better future.
国际合作与交流处处长张景萍为全体毕业生送上了毕业祝福，她提到东北师范大学早在上世纪60年代就开始招收来华留学生了，是中国最早接收留学生的高等院校之一。这六十年间东师培养了数以万计的留学生校友，他们中有驻华使领馆的官员使节，有科研院所的研究学者，有孔子学院的中文教师，有跨国公司的精英骨干……希望毕业生们能够和他们一样，将来不论去往哪里，也都能凭借在东师所学成长为各自岗位上的精英，成长为母校的优秀校友。她表示留学生的肩上，承载着两国人民的深情厚谊。在未来的日子里，希望毕业生们成为和平的使者、友谊的桥梁，为两国的深厚友谊和共同发展，贡献自己的一份力量！
Zhang Jingping, Director of the Division of International Cooperation and Exchange, expressed her wishes to all the graduates. She said that NENU has been admitting international students to China since the 1960s, and was one of the first higher education institutions in China with such qualifications. In the past 60 years, NENU has cultivated tens of thousands of international students, some of whom are now officials and envoys from embassies and consulates, some have become researchers and scholars at research institutions, some have worked as Chinese teachers at Confucius Institutes, and some have worked in multinational companies. She hoped that, like them, all of graduates of 2023 would grow into elites in your posts and become outstanding alumni in the future! She said that you are shouldering the mission of building bridges between the people of China and your compatriots. She hoped that you could be the envoys of friendship between China and your country to make your own contributions to the profound friendship and mutual development in the future!
